
Anne Kaminsky was born in Denmark and studied painting at the Städelschule in Frankfurt, Germany from 1993 until 1999. In 1999 she graduated as Meisterschülerin of Per Kirkeby, M.A.
Among others, a selection of paintings and drawings are part of the permanent collection of the Museum für Moderne Kunst, MMK in Frankfurt, of the Zentrale of the ING Nootenbank in Brussels and also of the Collection of New German Contemporary Painting of the Bundesbank in Frankfurt.
She lives and works in Cologne and Berlin. Her work includes figurative as well as nonfigurative oversize paintings, works on paper, books and sculpture.
In 2015 she was granted a scholarship to attend the artist in residence program at the Banff Centre of the Art in Canada.
